3. AI Data Processing & Third-Party AI Services

Artlete uses artificial intelligence to generate manga-style avatars from your photos. When you use this feature:

What we send: Your face photo is transmitted to Google Gemini AI, a third-party AI service operated by Google LLC, for the sole purpose of generating your avatar.
Purpose: Avatar generation only. Your photos are not used for any other purpose such as training AI models, advertising, or profiling.
Data retention by third party: Google processes your image data in accordance with their own privacy policy. We do not control how long Google retains data processed through their API. We encourage you to review Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Your control: You can choose not to use the avatar generation feature. If you do not upload a photo for avatar creation, no image data is sent to Google.
Deletion: You may request deletion of your avatar at any time. Upon deletion, we remove the generated avatar from our servers. For data already processed by Google, their retention policies apply.
Regional availability: The AI avatar feature may not be available in all regions. In jurisdictions where AI services require specific regulatory approval (such as mainland China), this feature may be disabled or restricted to comply with local laws and regulations.

4. Sharing Your Information

We may share your data with:

Other users (based on your profile visibility)
Clubs, coaches, and organizations
Service providers (hosting, payments, analytics)
Third-party AI services (Google Gemini) for avatar generation as described in Section 3

We do NOT sell your personal data.

5. Profile Visibility & Control

You control:

Profile visibility (public/private elements)
Location sharing
What information is displayed on your profile

6. Data Security

However, no system is 100% secure.

As long as your account is active

Artlete is not intended for users under 13 (or applicable age in your country).
